The Macedonian striker has allegedly asked the club for a move and Juve are stepping up their pursuit.

Goran Pandev could be poised for a switch to Juventus this summer, with Vincenzo Iaquinta moving in the opposite direction to Lazio as part of the deal.

Pandev’s agent, Leonardo Corsi, revealed yesterday that his client is unwilling to sign an extension at Lazio and is considering a move away from the Stadio Olimpico.

His current deal with the Aquile will run out in June 2010 and he is reportedly being chased by Bundesliga outfit Hamburg and Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur. Meanwhile, Juventus are also said to be mulling over a summer swoop to replace French striker David Trezeguet.

Lazio chief Claudio Lotito is expected to demand in excess of €20 million to part company with the Macedonian international, however, the Corriere dello Sport claims that Juve may propose a part-exchange deal including Iaquinta.

Fiorentina are also among the interested parties and a swap deal involving Adrian Mutu has been suggested. By the same token, Inter might offer Robert Acquafresca or Julio Cruz to bring Pandev back to the Stadio San Siro.

The Nerazzurri unearthed Pandev in 2001, taking him to the peninsula from his native Macedonia. He was then sent out on loan to Spezia and Ancona before joining Lazio in 2004, where he has netted 64 goals in all competitions.
