Werder Bremen’s Diego: Juventus Have Made Me An Offer
The Brazilian superstar could be on his way to Turin, if he accepts the term put before him.
The 24-year-old has declared that he would love to play in the Serie A, whilst it is no secret that the Old Lady would love to have him in their squad, making the move look a near certainty.
All that awaits now is an official offer; however, according to the player himself, just such a thing has already been proposed.
“Juventus have discussed an offer with us, but I cannot reveal any details to this point,” Diego is quoted as saying by TMW.
“I have a contract until 2011 with Werder Bremen, so my move also depends on the club and what they want.
“It is not up to me to say whether I will go or whether I will stay.”
The Bundesliga outfit are demanding €26 million for his services, whilst it has been reported that Juve are willing to offer around €20m, something that may have changed over the past 24 hours.
