Report: Napoli Plan Swoop For Sergio Floccari And Camilo Zuniga
The Partenopei are ready to sacrifice striker Calaio and defender Garics to secure the duo.
According to rumours in the Corriere dello Sport, Napoli have stepped up their chase for Atalanta strike sensation Sergio Floccari and have added Siena right-back Camilo Zuniga to their summer hit-list.
The Partenopei have had a season of ups and downs and are currently stuck in 12th place, despite being in contention for a Champions League berth in the first part of the campaign.
President Aurelio De Laurentiis has promised at least three or four big-name signings and director of sport Pierpaolo Marino has already identified his men.
Floccari is considered the ideal forward to complement Argentine Ezequiel Lavezzi, and the Campani are confident of beating off competition from Juventus and Roma by offering his club Atalanta the full services of right-back Gyorgy Garics, who joined the Orobici in a co-ownership deal last summer.
Moreover, Marino has been impressed with Siena’s Colombian full-back Camilo Zuniga and is prepared to offer money plus the rights to forward Emanuele Calaio, who is currently on loan with the Robur.
Yesterday, press reports also suggested that Napoli are considering a move for Udinese midfielder Gaetano D’Agostino.
