Palombo Snubs Juventus Interest To Remain With Sampdoria
The Samp midfielder wants to remain with his club, despite reports indicating interest from elsewhere.
In recent times, Sampdoria’s Angelo Palombo has been tracked by a number of clubs as a result of his fine form this season.
Juventus have topped the list of those interested, and they have reportedly been formulating an offer for the player over the past few weeks.
Despite their supposed interest though, Palombo has spoken for the first time about the situation, and what his intentions are for the future.
“It pleases me that my form is proving to be of some interest to other clubs, but I am happy at Sampdoria,” Palombo affirmed in an interview with Primocanale.
“I do not want to leave this club.”
The 27-year-old is currently in Podgorica, where he is preparing for Italy’s World Cup qualifying match against Montenegro this weekend.
