Yoann Gourcuff could not find much space in the starting line-up due to the presence of Kaka and Clarence Seedorf at AC Milan, but he has been in a rich vein of form since joining Girondins Bordeaux on-loan this summer.
The French international has caught the eye with some amazing performances, but Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti is unsure whether the 22-year-old will stay with the Rossoneri once his loan expires.
"The return of Gourcuff in the Milan jersey will not be easy, even if it is not impossible," Ancelotti suggested, according to tuttomercatoweb.
"Bordeaux will probably exercise their right to purchase him. It's a pity, because here he was unable to express himself well, but the problem was only psychological in nature."
Reports suggest that the Ligue 1 club have the option to purchase Gourcuff for a fee of between €13-15 million at the conclusion of his loan period. Meanwhile, German giants Bayern Munich have also been linked with a move for the former Rennes star.
