According to a report in the British tabloid The Daily Mirror, Premier League club Blackburn Rovers are keeping tabs on Aron Gunnarsson.
The 19-year-old midfielder currently plies his trade with Championship side Coventry City and recently caught the eye when he scored a sensational half-volley against Rovers in an FA Cup fifth round tie at Ewood Park.
The Iceland international, who has won eight full caps to date, only joined the Sky Blues last summer from Dutch club AZ. He has since made 33 appearances for the Midlands based outfit.
English giants Liverpool and Scottish champions Celtic are also interested in the 5ft 9in midfielder, but the report claims his agent has put Blackburn in pole position for his signature.
