The talented young attacker has spent time at Arsenal, Derby and Treviso in the past, but his immediate future is uncertain. In 2005, Lupoli was Arsenal’s top scorer at youth level with an impressive 27 goals in 32 appearances.
His stay with the Gunners was short lived however, as he was eventually loaned to Derby, and then signed for Fiorentina, on a free transfer in 2007.
English clubs have shown great interest in the starlet, with Southampton and Wigan Athletic at the front of the pack. The Latics are particularly impressed with Lupoli, but it is unclear whether Fiorentina may want the youngster to return in the near future.
According to Tuttosport, the Norwich City player has had requests come in from the Italian peninsula as well with Torino showing interest. Granata coach Walter Novellino considers the player very highly, and is hoping to add him to his newly acquired Torino ranks.
It is likely that Fiorentina will use the transfer window to benefit from all the requests for Lupoli, but it remains a mystery whether he will be at an English club or an Italian one in the new year.
