Inter defender Cristian Chivu believes his side are hungrier and more driven than their opponents Palermo to win the Coppa Italia final at the Stadio Olimpico on Sunday.
“Inter are even more motivated than Palermo,” Chivu told Inter's television channel, adding, “There are no favourites in a one-off match."
The Romanian, who recently announced his retirement from international football, admitted that Palermo will provide a strong challenge for the Serie A runners-up.
But the 30-year-old says the Milan giants are confidant of hoisting their third trophy of the 2010-11 campaign.
“It will be a difficult encounter, because Palermo have lofty ambitions and this represents an historic final for them.
“They are fired up. It’s never easy to face the Sicilians, a very organised side with experienced players who will be ready to do battle.
“As I said, we too are prepared to fight for the Coppa Italia. We want to lift our third trophy of the season.”
Inter have already won the Italian Super Cup and Club World Cup this campaign, although Rafa Benitez was still coach at the time of those victories.
