Japanese defender Yuto Nagatomo thrilled with Inter's 1-0 victory over Roma in the Coppa Italia.
The Japanese defender, who joined the world champions on loan from Cesena in January, was part of the starting line-up, and was encouraged by the attitude of the players after what has been a difficult run of results.
The 24-year-old told the media afterwards: "We prepared the game with the captain [Javier Zanetti]. The team were very united, we wanted to win and we did.
"It was a very tough game but we never lost concentration and we earned a major victory."
The second-leg of the tie will take place at San Siro on May 11.
