If Real Madrid Want To They Will Crush Us - Alcorcon Coach Anquela

He says his side will try to play their own game...

Juan Antonio Anquela, Alcorcon
Juan Antonio Anquela, coach of Segunda B minnows Alcorcon, has admitted that Real Madrid could destroy his team tonight in the second leg of their fourth round Copa del Rey tie.

Alcorcon lead 4-0 from the first leg after inflicting a humiliating hammering on Los Merengues and Anquela now says Madrid prepare for this game like they would for Milan. He also stressed that matching Madrid physically is his sides best hope of progressing to the fifth round.

"We can compete with Real Madrid physically but if we lose that, how do we beat them? We're not used to so many games in a row and we are short numbers. It is normal for our players and playing as many minutes at this level takes its toll," he told AS.

"If they want to crush us they will crush us. If Madrid is at its very best then it will be difficult to move on. They are the clear favourites. We hope we can win, but not in this leg.

"Now they treat us like we're Milan. We are a team from Segunda B that is doing the best it can. We will try to play our game, keep the ball, but not forget who we are playing. If they want they won't let us past the halfway line."
