Alcorcon coach Juan Antonio Anquela said he enjoyed "a beautiful day" after masterminding one of the biggest upsets in Spanish football history, a 4-0 triumph over Real Madrid in the first leg of their Copa del Rey fourth round clash.

Anquela's side produced a brilliant display against the Primera Liga giants to secure the biggest victory in their short, 38-year history but afterwards admitted that he is worried that the energy sapping performance may affect fitness for their next league game against UB Conquense at the weekend.

"I have been fortunate to win promotion to the First and Second [Divisions] and they were very important days. But today is beautiful. It was a very good game. The team has been at a good level and we have been fortunate enough to seize opportunities and put them away," he told a press conference afterwards.

"This is a trap for us. My worry is on Sunday. Our goal is the league on Sunday and have a very difficult game. The players were very happy and very tired. I do not think we crushed Real Madrid, but when we got chances we have scored goals."

Anquela says he expects a very tough game in the return leg at the Bernabeu on November 10.

"Madrid know what they need to do. In the Bernabeu, they could score five. There we are going to suffer," he warned.
