Pogba wary of Napoli challenge

The France international says the Bianconeri must be at their best when they travel to Naples on Sunday
Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba has warned his team-mates that they cannot let their performance levels slip ahead of Sunday’s Serie A clash with Napoli.

Pogba was speaking to the media after Juventus’ 2-1 win over Parma on Wednesday, courtesy of two first half goals from Carlos Tevez.

The win helped the Bianconeri stretched their lead at the top of the table to 14 points, but the France international was cautious of the threat posed by third-place Napoli.

“We will have to play like we did in the first half against Parma,” Pogba told the press conference.

"We are very happy for the win, once again we were able to bring home a very important result. We’re not talking about anything, we must continue to think only of this way, to have the same approach and always play well."

Despite the win, the 21-year-old felt that his side missed the chance to kill the game off following the red card for Parma’s Amauri, who was dismissed for an elbow on Giorgio Chiellini.

“In the second half, especially when we had numerical superiority, we let go, instead we must always be clinical. Sunday against Napoli will be a very important match, we cannot go wrong.”
