Della Valle has revealed that his club’s new stadium will be based on the Allianz Arena, with the Viola's owner preferring this design to Juventus’ home
In January, the Serie A club signed a deal to build a new stadium that will see them leave the Stadio Artemio Franchi, which has been their home ground for over 80 years.
“Our engineers are working together with those in the town of Florence,” the Italian told Radio24. “We willl not follow Juve’s stadium as a model but we will look at Bayern’s home ground.
“The new stadium will provide a lot of services for the city of Florence. It will be an innovative project.”
Della Valle also announced that he was a fan of Inter before he bought the Florence-based club. However, he is fully focused on bringing success back to the Viola.
“I was an Inter fan but I had a purple passion as my idols were Corso and Hamrin. When the club was failing I said to the then mayor of Florence Leonardo Dominici that we would return to the top after a few months. It did not happen like that."
