Roma forward Gervinho has sent a warning to Juventus that his side should not yet be discounted from the Serie A title race.
The Bianconeri ended the capital club's unbeaten league run with a resounding 3-0 win at the start of January to move eight points clear at the top of the table.
However, the Giallorossi exacted revenge with a 1-0 win in their Coppa Italia quarter-final, and Gervinho - who scored the winner in Tuesday's clash - has made it clear his side will continue to fight for the Scudetto until the very end.
"Juve are very strong, but the season has a long way to go yet," the former Arsenal man told Sky Sport Italia.
"It's true they have a consistent advantage, but we'll play the head-to-head game at the Stadio Olimpico and we believe in the Scudetto.
"There are many games to go and the championship is certainly not over."
Gervinho went on to praise the impact of coach Rudi Garcia, claiming his old Lille boss has instilled a new sense of confidence throughout the squad.
"Garcia is great because he manages to give every single player confidence, involving them all in the project," the 26-year-old added.
