thumbnail Hello,

The Rossoneri icon has voiced his frustration with the club's recent problems and is desperate to move on and get back on track

AC Milan caretaker boss Mauro Tassotti has stressed that everybody at the club is responsible for their poor performances this term and admitted that they are all "very angry" about the position they find themselves in.

With the Rossoneri currently 11th in the Serie A table, 30 points behind league leaders Juventus, the San Siro side decided to fire coach Massimiliano Allegri on Monday and former Netherlands international Clarence Seedorf will now take the reins after Wednesday's Coppa Italia clash against Spezia.

Tassotti, meanwhile, has insisted everyone needs to take responsibility for the dreadful situation Milan are in.

"We're all angry, very angry. At the end, it's the coach who pays for it all, but it's everyone's fault, the technical staff and me included. We're surely all responsible for the situation," Tassotti said at a press conference.

"But now it's too late - the fat is in the fire. We had so many chances, the club gave us chances to change as much as they could, but then [a change of coach] was inevitable.

"There's nothing much to do when such things happen mid-season. The choice has been made. Now we need to turn over a new leaf, trying to win again, starting against Spezia."

Seedorf is expected to be presented as Milan's new permanent coach after Wednesday's encounter.
