The centre-back has insisted that Sunday's encounter was not as easy for the titleholders as the final result might suggestJuventus defender Andrea Barzagli has admitted that Roma made life difficult for the Bianconeri in Sunday's Serie A encounter, despite running out 3-0 winners.
Arturo Vidal gave Juventus the lead after 17 minutes of play, before Leonardo Bonucci and Mirko Vucinic put the match to bed after the break.
However, Barzagli has stressed that it was not an easy win for the reigning Italian champions.
"It was a difficult, hard-fought encounter," Barzagli was quoted as saying on the official Juventus website.
"Roma have great players and caused us some problems, but we did really well to give so little away and make the most of the chances we created."
Juventus moved eight points clear of Roma following Sunday's win, but Barzagli echoed the sentiments of coach Antonio Conte in declaring that the title race is by no means over just yet.
"It’s perhaps best not to think about the table at the moment.
"We have a considerable advantage now, but there are too many games to be played and we mustn't let our guard down."
