The Napoli boss has outlined the severity of this Saturday night's fixture, as he looks to bring his side back to winning ways
With Borussia Dortmund on the horizon for a midweek Champions League fixture, Benitez is eager to ensure that Napoli do not lose out on further points to fellow title rivals Juventus and Roma.
And, with many players returning from international duty, Benitez could face a possible challenge in choosing who starts for the Partenopei.
“I believe that the next game is very important for our championship” said Rafa Benitez at a press conference on Friday.
“The choice of the players who are sent onto the field depends on the commitment they had in recent days with the national sides. We have players who work well in training, so I’ll have to evaluate a lot of things.”
Prior to the international break, Napoli suffered a 3-0 loss to current league champions Juventus and Benitez is keen to see that his side improve their league form starting with Parma.
“Underestimate Parma? All my players are focused and ready and I am sure that they will take the field with the right mind set," he continued.
“We are at 75 per cent and for this we can still improve both defensively and in the attack.
“We have to try to win against all the sides we face, and we look to Parma with great concentration, because every team in the league is difficult to deal with."
