On Friday evening the Giallorossi stretched their 100% record in Serie A to eight games following a 2-0 victory over third-placed Napoli to reinforce their title credentials.
Both goals on were scored by Bosnian playmaker Miralem Pjanic, however Boniek asserted that veteran striker Totti is still the club's main man having scored three goals and assisted a further six already this season.
"Francesco has a lot of quality, probably more than all the others put together. Despite his age, he is in good physical condition," he told Tuttosport.
"I think they (Roma) will be a dangerous team until the end also because they have everything it takes to win. They have attackers, a great midfield and a defence that does not concede goals.”
"Roma has always had a good staff. This year has been even better as they do not play in the cups, and they have a good coach (Rudi Garcia) who has given them balance.
“Maybe Juventus is the stronger but they also have the Champions league. After Pirlo and his companions there are Roma and also Napoli but I do not see any other challengers.”
The capital club travel to Udinese for their next assignment as they bid to continue their fine start to the campaign.
