Pogba: Juve faith makes me proud

The French midfielder is delighted with the start his side have made to the season and is ignoring AC Milan's shock defeat to Hellas Verona
Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba has hailed the faith shown in him by the club since his move from Manchester United in the summer of 2012.

The France international enjoyed a stellar first season in Serie A and is set for an extended run in the first team following Claudio Marchisio's injury.

"I feel that everyone here has faith in me and that makes me feel very proud. We've made a good start by winning a difficult game with an excellent performance," he told the club's official website.

Pogba went on to say that he is not concerned with AC Milan's opening loss, with his focus solely on matters in Turin.

"AC Milan lost? That doesn't affect us. We just have to focus on ourselves and our own games."

Juventus continue their Serie A defence with a home fixture against Lazio on August 31.
