The 20-year-old will finally seal his move to the Biancocelesti this summer pending a successful medical

Lazio are set to complete the signing of Felipe Anderson from Santos after club president Claudio Lotito confirmed the midfielder was due to undergo a medical.

The Biancocelesti initially struck a deal with the Brazilian outfit to sign the 20-year-old in January but, following complications over the necessary paperwork, the move fell through.

Lazio's Interest in the young Brazilian was rekindled earlier in the summer, but further complications are said to have arose after it emerged the player was co-owned by UK investment company Doyen Sports which held up the proposed deal.

However, it appears the 56-year-old has finally got his man as he confirmed Anderson was set to travel to the Italian capital for a medical.

He told reporters: "I believe he will join Lazio, but we must now wait on him to pass his medical examinations."

Meanwhile, Lotito was coy when asked about the future of Libor Kozak, who has been linked with a move to Udinese.

"He is our player for the moment," he added. "When it is necessary to assess the various options we will see what we are going to do.

"But I can confirm that our relations with [Udinese president] Gino Pozza are great."
