Speculation continues to mount over current trainer Massimiliano Allegri's position at the Rossoneri and Rijkaard has been linked with a return to the club.
But his agent claims that no such discussions have taken place.
"[The Milan rumours] may be [true], but the current state of things is that the calls to see him on the bench at the Rossoneri are just rumours. Neither of us have been called by Milan," Overeem told MilanNews. It
The Dutchman went on to claim that despite his client being unemployed following his dismissal as the coach of Saudi Arabia in January, Rijkaard is both happy to remain out of contract at present and respects the current position of Allegri at Milan.
He added:"Then for the future never say never, but Frank is fine, he has a great respect for the present state of things and has no problem with staying put this year."
