The versatile Uruguayan believes his side are fully behind coach Andrea Stramaccioni ahead of the final push for Europa League qualification
The Nerazzurri, fifth, have faded badly in recent weeks which has dented their European prospects, but got back to winning ways after a 1-0 win over Parma last weekend.
However, Pereira argues while the season has not gone as planned, there is still plenty to play for in the closing stages of the campaign.
“Inter is well, we won last Sunday and our confidence back after recent defeats. Now we must think about winning the remaining matches and think about what we can still achieve," he told Sky Sport Italia.
Pereira refuses to be drawn on how good this Inter side are compared to others, insisting this team still have fixtures remaining to prove their worth.
"Wait till the season is over before you ask me to make an assessment of my vintage Inter," he continued.
"There's still five games to go, and the players are ready for the next commitment. I only say that an Inter player should always want to win.
Pereira made the move to Inter last summer, after a successful spell at Porto.
