Juventus midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah has insisted that he and his team-mates will not be thinking about winning Serie A when they take on Torino in the Turin derby on Sunday.
Should the Bianconeri triumph at their local rivals this weekend and Napoli lose then Antonio Conte's side will seal a second successive Scudetto.
The 24-year-old did admit that a win would be a big stepping stone towards a triumphant campaign but said he will be looking at the game as a local derby and nothing more.
"We are thinking we want to win the derby and then we will think of winning the Scudetto," he told Tuttosport.
"The derby is a tough game and requires the utmost concentration. The championship is there, we're getting closer, but it's not worth thinking about."
Asamoah has been used mostly on the wing this season but he admitted that he would prefer to play in a more central position despite feeling he has progressed due to his positional change.
He added: "I have discovered that I can also be useful in that position. My favourite position remains that of midfielder, but I am very happy to have learned to do well on the wing."
