The former Roma boss has nothing but praise for the 67-year-old and has admitted that he would not turn down Inter if they were to approach him
Heynckes secured the Bundesliga title with Bayern earlier this month, while also guiding the Bavarians to the semi-finals of the Champions League as well as the DFB-Pokal final this term.
And Zeman believes the veteran former Bayer Leverkusen boss is a better coach than the likes of Pep Guardiola and Jose Mourinho.
"Heynckes is best European coach around in my opinion," Zeman was quoted as saying by La Gazzetta dello Sport.
"From the four Champions League semi-finalists, I like his Bayern Munich the most because of the brilliance of their game and the ideas behind it. I like them even more than Barcelona."
Zeman has been out of work ever since he got the sack at Roma earlier this season, but he has recently been linked with Inter, with speculation rife over the future of Nerazzurri boss Andrea Stramaccioni.
"I believe that no coach would be able to turn down Inter. The problem is that they'll have to approach you, though," he said.
"The passion Moratti puts in Inter shows he's young at heart. He's the prime example of a president who lives for his club."
Zeman is unlikely to make the move to Inter any time soon, though, following Moratti's latest comments that they intend to stick with Stramaccioni.
