The forward is currently on loan at Ascoli and his contract is up with his parent club in the summer of 2014, but the player’s representative, Christian Maifredi, has said that no discussions have taken place with the San Siro outfit.
“Nobody from Milan has ever called me,” Maifredi stressed to TMW.
“I can assure you that there is no meeting planned. I’ll meet with Sampdoria next week though as they have formulated a new offer with regards to an extension.
“However, for now, the priority is for Simone to finish the season in the best way possible for Ascoli.”
The 21-year-old has notched 18 goals in 28 appearances in Serie B this season.
