Balotelli: Milan can be as good as Barcelona
The striker scored both goals in the Rossoneri’s 2-0 win over Palermo on Sunday afternoon, but he dismissed suggestions that he could have prevented the side’s European exit

The striker scored twice in the Rossoneri's 2-0 victory at San Siro over Palermo on Sunday, and the Italy international, who was cup-tied so played no part in their Champions League exit at the Blaugrana's hands, thinks being as good as the Catalunya giants is within their reach.
He told Sky Sport after being named man of the match: "[To be on par with Juve and Barca] we must continue to work as a group.
"Maybe we do not play like Barcelona but we can get to their level, because we beat them at home, but what is gone is gone and today we recovered."
When asked whether Balotelli could have prevented the 4-0 defeat at Camp Nou which saw the Serie A side eliminated at the last-16 stage, the former Inter starlet dismissed such a notion.
He added: "They are a strong team and they are great champions - nothing changes when anyone plays against them.
"Maybe with me we would have lost 8-0. We just had bad luck."
Balotelli's two goals at San Siro on Sunday took his tally to seven goals since joining Milan from Manchester City on transfer deadline day in January.
