Quagliarella wants to stay at Juventus, says agent
By Stefan Coerts
Mar 6, 2013 9:45:00 AM
The former Napoli attacker has been linked with a move away from the Bianconeri, but his representative has insisted he is happy to stay put
Fabio Quagliarella's agent, Beppe Bozzo, has made it clear that the attacker has no intention to leave Juventus, saying he is happy with life at the Serie A champions. The 30-year-old's future at Juve is in doubt following the arrival of Fernando Llorente from Athletic Bilbao at the end of the season, while the Turin side are also being linked with attackers such as Stevan Jovetic and Alexis Sanchez.
Nevertheless, Quagliarella remains keen to stay put and prove his worth.
"If Juventus want him to stay at the end of the season, Fabio is more than happy to remain at the club. Despite everything, it remains his goal to stay at Juventus. There's no reason why he would want to leave," Bozzo told Tuttosport.
"Even though he has played less than expected, Fabio has never requested a transfer. He has made a lot of sacrifices to end up at a big club like Juventus and will do his utmost to win over the coach."
Quagliarella has a contract with Juventus until June 2015.
