'Balotelli has become more mature' - Muntari
The Ghanaian midfielder was impressed with his AC Milan team-mate's Derby della Madonnina performance, despite the abuse to which he was subjected by the Inter crowd
AC Milan midfielder Sulley Muntari has praised his new team-mate Mario Balotelli for acting more maturely than in the past. The Italy international moved to San Siro in January and had to face the taunts of fans of his former club, Inter on Sunday, but was able to ignore the abuse from the crowd.
"Balotelli has changed a lot over these years," the 28-year-old told reporters.
"He’s more mature and you could see that on Sunday despite the pressure he was under and the difficulty of the moment.
"It’s just a shame he didn't score. It’s also a shame that we only got a draw. We should have won for ourselves and for our fans."
Muntari also revealed that he is delighted with life with the Rossoneri, having recovered from a knee injury that kept him out for a portion of the season.
"This jersey is already a part of me. It’s in my blood."
