De Sciglio confident ahead of derby
AC Milan take on Inter on Sunday, and the young full-back is certain his side can triumph if they replicate their performance against Barcelona in midweek
AC Milan defender Mattia De Sciglio is confident his side can grab all three points against Inter if they produce another fine display.
The Rossoneri have been in great form of late, pulling off a shock 2-0 victory over Barcelona in midweek, and the young full-back is hoping they can claim another big win.
“We know that it won't be an easy match, but if we play like we did on Wednesday, we will do well," De Sciglio told Sky Sport Italia.
“The win over Barca gave us a great morale boost, and has shown that the initial blip we had at the start of the season was just that.
“The derby is a great game. It's the sort of match in which every kid dreams of playing.
“Inter are not having the best of times at the moment, but you can never make predictions for the Derby. They will have a great desire to win."
Inter and Milan kick off at 20:45CET on Sunday.
