The Viola coach admitted they were deservedly beaten by the Bianconeri, but insisted it is all part of the learning process for his side and they will improveVincenzo Montella has conceded that Juventus proved their superiority over his Fiorentina outfit, following a 2-0 defeat at the hands of the Turin club.
Mirko Vucinic opened the scoring in spectacular fashion while Alessandro Matri doubled the Bianconeri's lead shortly before half-time.
And Montella admits the hosts thoroughly deserved their win.
“Juventus proved they are superior,” the Italian told reporters.
“That doesn’t mean that Fiorentina didn’t try to challenge, as Juve scored and controlled the game like the great team they are.
“We are in the middle of a growth process and that also means experiencing lessons like this. We always play with our characteristics, as if you put 10 men behind the ball then you’re going to lose anyway.
“Tonight, Juve made it difficult for us to construct our moves, which hadn’t happened to us often. It will be good experience for the next games.”
Juventus have a five-point lead at the top of Serie A, while the Viola are in sixth position.
