Salamon: Joining AC Milan a dream come true
The Poland Under-21 international is overjoyed with his move to the Serie A side, and is eager to get going at his new club and meet his team-mates
Promising youngster Bartosz Salamon has voiced his delight with his transfer from Brescia to AC Milan on deadline day of the January transfer window. The 21-year-old, who can play both in midfield and in defence, signed a contract until June 2017 with the Rossoneri on Thursday, and is over the moon with his move to the Serie A giants.
"It's a dream come true to be a Milan player," he told Milan Channel.
"I used to be a midfielder but coach [Alessandro] Calori turned me into a centre-back. I like that position but if the coach asks me to, I can play in front of the defence as well.
"I don't know any of my new team mates yet, but I'll meet them soon. Idols? None."
Salamon could make his official Milan debut in Sunday's league match against Udinese.
