The star's representative has claimed the capital club opted against a move for the France Under-20 international, who has enjoyed a successful season with the Turin sidePaul Pogba's agent says Roma turned down the chance to sign his client last summer, before the young midfielder went on to move to Italian champions Juventus.
The 19-year-old has enjoyed a prosperous season to date, scoring four goals in 14 appearances after leaving Manchester United at the end of his contract.
"Pogba? Before he went to Juve, I offered him to Roma," Mino Raiola told Radio Radio. "Walter Sabatini [Roma's director of football] however, said no.
"It was then that Juve came, and they wanted to get him," he added.
Pogba has been a regular for the Bianconeri this season, recently grabbing a brace in a 4-0 home win over Udinese, but was an unused substitute in the Turin side's last match, a 2-1 defeat away to Lazio.
