Fiorentina can achieve European qualification, says Jovetic
The Montenegro international believes that his side can challenge with the best, and insists that he is happy at the side despite transfer speculation
Fiorentina forward Stevan Jovetic believes that the Florence-based club can qualify for continental competitions, but says Juventus are Italy's best side. The 23-year-old has netted six goals during the current campaign for Viola, which has helped the club move up to fourth place in Serie A.
"Fiorentina is a great team, we can achieve qualification for European cups," Jovetic told Corriere dello Sport.
"Juventus is the best Italian team. Pirlo and Vucinic are two stars."
Jovetic also said that he is targeting long-term success with Fiorentina, despite being linked with a move to Manchester City during the previous transfer window.
"I'm happy to be in Firenze," he said. "Now I'm not thinking about a transfer.
"Manchester City want me? I know nothing," he added.
