Gilvan de Souza, the agent and father of Robinho, has rubbished reports that the striker is ready to leave AC Milan and return to former club Santos.
The 28-year-old has been linked with a transfer to the Brazilian side where he started his professional career in 2002, but his father is adamant that his son has no desire to part from the Rossoneri - and neither do his employers.
"These stories are only rumours - he will not leave Milan," De Souza told UOL Esporte.
"He does not want to deceive the fans of other clubs. The Rossoneri have already sold other strikers, so they will not let him leave too."
"He's happy, playing and earning money without any problems. He has no reason to leave. It is certain that he will not go to Santos in 2013.''
Robinho joined Milan from Manchester City in 2010 and has since appeared 71 times for the Serie A giants, scoring 22 goals.| Sign up with William Hill for a free bet up to £25 |
