Inter will never surrender in Scudetto fight, says Juan Jesus
The Brazilian defender is adamant that the Nerazzurri will not go down easily in the race for the title and stressed that he is ready to give all he has to help the cause
Inter defender Juan Jesus has stated that the whole squad believe that they can win the Scudetto, and made clear that everyone is committed to the task of dethroning Juventus at the top of Serie A.The Nerazzurri find themselves four points behind the Bianconeri in the standings and the Brazilian stressed that the players will do their best to claim their first league title since 2010.
"We will always believe that we can win Scudetto and I want to do everything to lift the trophy," he told Sport Mediaset.
"Inter are a great team and we should do everything possible to win the title."
The Brazilian then talked about his adaptation to life in Italy, and voiced his desire to stay at San Siro for the long term.
"I’m happy because nobody had heard of me in Italy, but now things has changed. I hope to have five or six good years to show what I am capable of. I want to be a part of Inter for a long time.
"I never thought I’d become a starter. I wanted to do my job and I thank boss Andrea Stramaccioni for the trust he placed in me."
The Nerazzurri's next league game sees them visit Stadio Olimpico to face to Lazio on Saturday.
