Neto had put the Tuscans in the driving seat midway through the first half, but a pair of goals from Mattia Destro - against his former club - and a Simone Perrotta effort sandwiched inbetween, made it three wins on the bounce for the Giallorossi.
"Today the team played well," the coach told reporters. "We were a little slow in the first half, but after the break we tried with all our strength to win and did just that.
“We were probably in better shape physically than our opponents. It was a better performance compared to the win at Pescara, but we still need to maintain our concentration and consistency levels.
Daniele De Rossi's suspension forced the Czech trainer to reshuffle his pack - most notably the inclusion of Miralem Pjanic on the right side of Roma's triumvirate in attack.
However, the Bosnia international adapted well to his new surroundings in the eyes of Zeman, while he also reserved praise for midfielder Panagiotis Tachtsidis and captain Francesco Totti.
"Pjanic did well as he wasn't accustomed to playing in the penalty area, but he adapted very well," he added.
"I was also satisfied with Panagiotis Tachtsidis' work. Francesco Totti put in a great performance, but I am certainly not the first to discover his remarkable quality.
"The midfielders pushed forward well and in the second half we made the most of the flanks."
