The San Siro giants had to settle for a 1-1 draw against the Bianconeri last term after the referee failed to spot that Sulley Muntari's header had crossed the line, but a crucial decision went their way this time around as Nicola Rizzoli awarded the Rossoneri a spot-kick following Mauricio Isla's alleged handball.
"A dubious penalty? Beating Juventus like this makes the win even better for me," Berlusconi was quoted as saying by La Gazzetta dello Sport.
"For the first time the players seemed to realise what it means to play for a club like Milan. I think I played a role in this.
"Juventus play some great football and [Antonio] Conte has done some great work with his philosophy."
Milan climb to eighth spot in the Serie A table following the result.
