The Rossoneri head coach has talked up the abilities of his loan signing despite the fact that the 22-year-old has failed to secure a starting role since arriving at the club
The Rossoneri trainer praised the young forward's movement and passing even though the starlet has not been a major part of the coach's plans so far this term.
"Bojan, from a central position, has always played well. He's very hard to pick up and likes to move a lot. His pass to Montolivo [to make it 2-1 against Palermo] demonstrated his quality. It's these little details that make a difference," Allegri told La Gazzetta Dello Sport.
The Barcelona loanee has only started three games this season for the Italian club and has found it difficult to break into the side, particularly as his coach has often chosen not to field a player in behind his strikers.
However, Allegri suggested that Bojan has mainly featured as a substitute because he is more useful in the second half when opposition defenders are tired.
"It's a pleasure to see him in training, sometimes he plays spectacularly. However, he is best deployed in the hole [behind the striker in a 4-2-3-1]. I feel he is more useful in the second halves of matches," he added.
