AC Milan not giving up on third place yet, says Constant
The Guinea international has targeted Champions League qualification with the Rossoneri, and has stressed that he will always give his all for the club
Kevin Constant has insisted that AC Milan have not given up hopes of finishing third in the Serie A table just yet as they have set their sights on qualifying for Europe's premier competition. The San Siro side currently sit 12th in the standings, trailing third-placed Napoli by 11 points, but Constant is desperate to return to winning ways and move into top half of the table.
"Now the main objective is to climb the table and then we’ll think of third place. We have to win against Chievo on Saturday. We have to focus on ourselves and on doing well," Constant told Milan Channel.
The versatile midfielder joined Milan from Genoa on a one-year loan deal in the summer transfer window, and is desperate to prove his worth and earn a permanent move.
"I’m always available for the team and whenever I get the chance to play, I try and give 100 per cent.
"I’m starting to get into better shape and I hope to continue on this road."
The 25-year-old has made seven appearances for the Rossoneri so far.
