Zanetti: Inter continue to grow

The Argentine skipper feels the 2010 Champions League winners get better by the game as they added three more points to their tally at the weekend
Javier Zanetti has voiced his delight with the progress Inter have made since the start of the 2012-13 campaign, and feels the Nerazzurri continue to improve.

The Giuseppe Meazza outfit recorded a solid 2-0 win over Catania on Sunday courtesy of goals from Antonio Cassano and Rodrigo Palacio, and Zanetti is pleased with his side's development.

"The team continues to grow and the unity is increasing between all parts of the pitch," the experienced defender told Inter Channel.

"The coach took care of everything [against Catania], down to the last detail. They never managed to truly trouble us and Inter deserved the win.

"This was an important step. We had to win in any way possible and we did it."

Inter sit joint third in the Serie A table, trailing leaders Juventus by four points.
