The former England manager has moved to defend the under-fire Rossoneri coach, and is confident the San Siro outfit can get a result in their upcoming game away to Lazio
Fabio Capello has come out in support of AC Milan coach Massimilano Allegri, with the San Siro outfit currently lingering in the mid-table in Serie A.The Russia boss, who trained the Rossoneri over three separate spells, believes the 45-year old is doing his job capably however, and urged the Italian's players to approach their games without fear.
“I think Allegri is a great coach. I talk often with him, and it is clear he is very well prepared,” the former Real Madrid coach opined to Sky Sport Italia.
“At this time, it is very important that Milan go on to the field without any awe, and that the players play to their maximum."
The 66-year old went on to comment on the upcoming game away to Lazio, a fixture in which the Rossoneri have performed well in recent seasons.
“The Stadio Olimpico is a traditionally a good place for Milan, and I think the game against Lazio will be a good one.”
