Zaccheroni: Coaches will be the difference between AC Milan and Inter
The 59-year-old knows all about managing in the Derby della Madonnina and he thinks that the result will be down to the men in the dugout as the teams are equal on paper
Alberto Zaccheroni believes that the coaches will be the key figures in Sunday night's clash between AC Milan and Inter. The Japan boss, who had more success with the Rossoneri than the Nerazzurri, said that both sides were strong but also that he is "curious" to see how Andrea Stramaccioni performs.
“For now Milan and Inter have very balanced squads, so it may well be down to the coaches in this game," Zaccheroni told Sky Sport Italia.
“We have seen Massimiliano Allegri more than Andrea Stramaccioni, as this is the Inter man’s first full season. This is perhaps why I am more curious about Stramaccioni."
Zaccheroni went on to predict that the match would end as a draw and also hinted that he could well move back into management in Italy if the opportunity arose.
“My prediction is that it will end 1-1 tonight," he added.
“For the moment I am happy where I am, but in the future if I still have the motivation, then a return to Italian football would be very welcome.”
