Juan & Ranocchia promise bright future for Inter, says Stramaccioni
By Stefan Coerts
Sep 20, 2012 10:30:00 AM
The young trainer is delighted with the understanding that the pair have struck up in recent weeks, and is confident they will form the foundations of the Nerazzurri's future
Inter coach Andrea Stramaccioni has taken the time to praise Andrea Ranocchia and Juan in the wake of their good performances, and believes a bright future lies in store for the Nerazzurri with the duo in defence. The pair of centre-backs won plaudits for their showings in Sunday's 2-0 win over Torino, and the young trainer feels they fully deserve all the positive feedback that has since come their way.
"Juan Jesus deserves all the praise and so too does Ranocchia – he's a player Inter and I can count on," Stramaccioni said at a press conference.
"Juan performed superbly [at the weekend] but let's not place expectations on him that are hard to live up to at this club.
"Juan and Andrea offer Inter a truly bright future, in a position where it's hard to find top players."
Inter are currently preparing for their Europa League clash with Rubin Kazan, which is scheduled to kick off at 21:05CET.
