TEAM NEWS: Matri and Giovinco start for Juventus against Genoa
The former Cagliari man will play up front alongside the Atomic Ant, as the Bianconeri look to maintain their unbeaten run against Massimo Carrera's side
Juventus will start with Alessandro Matri and Sebastian Giovinco up front against Genoa at Luigi Ferraris on Sunday.
The Bianconeri have opted for the Italy international alongside this summer's acquisition from Parma, as they look to maintain their incredible unbeaten league run, that has stretched to 41 Serie A games.
Elsewhere for the Old Lady, Gianluigi Buffon will play in goal, marshalling a defence of Andrea Barzagli, Leonardo Bonucci and Giorgio Chiellini.
In midfield, Andrea Pirlo, Emanuele Giaccherini and Claudio Marchisio will be flanked by Martin Caceres and Paolo De Ceglie.
For Genoa, they have gone for an ultra-attacking 4-3-3 formation, with Bosko Jankovic playing alongside Juve old-by Marco Borriello and Ciro Immobile – who is currently co-owned by the Turin side.
Juraj Kucka, Felipe Seymour and Germany U20 international Alexander Merkel will start in the middle of the park, whilst the back four consists of Damiano Feronetti, Andreas Granqvist, Michele Canini and Luca Antonelli. Sebastian Frey will play in goal.
