Pazzini proud to be compared to Filippo Inzaghi

The former Inter forward struck a delightful treble on his full Rossoneri debut against Bologna, and was compared to the former Milanese legend by club CEO Adriano Galliani
Hat-trick hero Giampaolo Pazzini spoke of his deep pride after being compared to AC Milan hero Filippo Inzaghi, in the aftermath of the club's 3-1 win over Bologna on Saturday. The Italy international's three goals helped the Rossoneri to their first league win after defeat to Sampdoria in their last outing, and there was much praise for the role the striker played.
The stellar performance led CEO Adriano Galliani to speak positively of the club's new signing, even going as far as admitting "it was like watching a new Inzaghi", leaving Pazzini to comment on the assertion.
"I'm really happy, it was a great evening. I really want to do [well]", the forward was quoted as saying by Tuttomercatoweb.
"Galliani compared me to Inzaghi? It’s an honour to be compared to Pippo. I hope that I can do half of what he has done [for Milan]."
Massimiliano Allegri's side encounter Atalanta after the international break on September 16, before the Champions League group stage gets underway against Anderlecht.
