Palermo's Migliaccio joins Fiorentina on loan with a €1.2m option to buy
Viola have added the Italian to their ranks after he signed on loan from the Rosanero, as they look to continue their winning start to the season against Napoli on Sunday
Fiorentina's official website has confirmed that they have added Palermo midfielder Giulio Migliaccio to their squad on a temporary basis with the option of buying the player outright for €1.2million if the original deal is successful. The Napoli-born player made his name with Atlanta, making 86 appearances between Serie A and B from 2004 to 2007. He moved to Palermo for €5m in the summer of 2007, and became a regular in the side, playing 177 times and scoring 10 goals.
Fiorentina have snapped him up on loan on transfer deadline day, as they look to continue their good form under coach Vincenzo Montella. They beat Udinese 2-1 in the first game of their season last week with two Stevan Jovetic goals.
Migliaccio could make his first appearance for Fiorentina away to Napoli on Sunday.
