The Serie A champions have completed the signing of the 30-year-old former Genoa goalkeeper to provide backup to Gianluigi Buffon and Marco Storari

Juventus have secured the services of Brazilian goalkeeper Rubinho on a free transfer. The 30-year-old has signed a one-year deal with the Serie A champions.

The Old Lady were keen to add another shot stopper to their squad as back-up for Gianluigi Buffon and Marco Storari, and they have now found their man in the Brazilian.

"Juventus have today completed the signing of Rubens Fernando Moedim," a statement on the club's official website reads.

"The 30-year-old goalkeeper, commonly known as Rubinho, has agreed terms on a contract which expires on 30 June 2013. He joins on a free transfer following a three-year spell with Palermo."

Rubinho started his professional career with Corinthians and also wore the jerseys of clubs such as Vitoria Setubal, Genoa, Palermo, Livorno and Torino over the years.
