The young forward will partner Brazil international Robinho up front, as the new arrival is left on the bench for the Rossoneri in their return to Serie A action
New AC Milan signing Giampaolo Pazzini will start from the bench for the Rossoneri at home to Sampdoria on Sunday afternoon.
The 28-year-old forward, who recently signed as part of a swap deal with Antonio Cassano from Inter, has been left on the bench in favour of youngster Stephan El Shaarawy, who partners Robinho up front.
Elsewhere, Riccardo Montolivo has been given his first start for the club, as he lines up alongside Antonio Nocerino, Kenvin-Prince Boateng and Mathieu Flamini in midfield.
At the back, Mario Yepes is chosen ahead of Cristian Zapata, as he partners Daniele Bonera at centre-back, with Mattia De Sciglio and Luca Antonini flanking them right and left-back, respectively.
For Sampdoria, they also offer debuts to former Juventus winger Marcelo Estigarribia and one-time Cesena man Eder up front.
At the back, Andrea Costa makes his debut at left-back, whilst Daniele Gastaldello and Jonathan Rossini play at central defence, with Gaetano Berardi. Argentina international Sergio Romero starts in goal.
