Inter striker Pazzini: I am waiting for the best option
The 28-year-old looks set to quit the Milan club after being left out of the squad for the Europa League play-offs, and says he is in no rush to move on
Inter striker Giampaolo Pazzini has revealed that he will bide his time and wait for the 'best offer' before securing a move away from Giuseppe Meazza. The 28-year-old has been transfer-listed by the club, with his exit made all the more possible after he was left out of the squad for the Europa League play-off against Vaslui next week.
The Italy international has been tipped for a move to either AC Milan or Napoli, in player-swap deals involving Antonio Cassano and Walter Gargano respectively, with champions Juventus also said to be interested.
Nevertheless, the striker, who notched eight goals for his club last season, remains coy about a transfer.
"My destiny will only be decided at the end of the transfer season," Pazzini was quoted as saying by La Gazzetta dello Sport.
"I am waiting for the best option."
Meanwhile, Andrea Stramaccioni's side take on Vaslui on Thursday, before the new Serie A season starts next weekend.
