I cost AC Milan 3000 Lire and a soda but did pretty well, says Nocerino
The Italy international is confident whoever arrives at the Rossoneri this summer will do well, just like he did after arriving at San Siro from Palermo last year
Antonio Nocerino believes AC Milan will cope without the likes of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Thiago Silva, both of whom left for Paris Saint-Germain this summer. The midfielder insists it is not the first time the Rossoneri have lost a big name, and for that reason, whoever joins the San Siro side in the next two weeks will find their way quickly, just like he did after arriving from Palermo last year.
"Whoever arrives at AC Milan will do well, just like I did last year. Milan paid 3.000 lire and a soda for me, yet I scored 11 goals," Nocerino told Rai Sport.
"I don't know [who will arrive at Milan]. Great players have left, but that's happened in the past as well.
"Milan are Milan, they are a great club that will always do well, regardless of the players that come and go."
The Serie A giants are currently preparing for their league opener at home against Sampdoria on August 26.
